Let's really get sewing! No matter what stage your child is at, this after school kids club will kickstart their creativity.
Our program focusses on quick craft projects that will combine both machine and hand stitching, increasing skills week on week. Think scrunchies, pencil cases, rope baskets and design your own toy. The skills learnt in this class will include threading and working a sewing machine, making seams, zig zag edging, top stitching and hand sewing including some embroidery and sewing on buttons.

Our door is just inside the gate to the left of the building. Please ring the doorbell to be let inside.
Pakring is tricky during the week. You are welcome to drop off your bags in the front area of the building, ring the bell and bring your items inside. You can then find a car park in a neighbouring street nearby. Most car parking is all day and free.
About Usefulbox
Caz began Usefulbox in 2015 after she was asked to help her friends take up sewing. She just loved it so much that she hasn't stopped!
Usefulbox has grown to include classes for beginner and intermediate sewists, to Quilting, Embroidery and Slow stitching.
We want to give you the confidence to take on new sewing challenges and to help you gain new skills. Come and join the sewing club!
