Caz Adams
Sewing is my jam — I started at 9 and never stopped. Usefulbox began helping people use their “in the box” machines. I love seeing students feel proud. Sewing is my creative outlet, and I believe it supports mental health — it’s helped me through life’s highs and lows.

Kelda Richards
Kelda has been teaching sewing since 2008 and loves helping students create garments they’re proud of. She shares time-saving techniques for a high-quality finish and enjoys working with quirky fabrics. Kelda believes anyone can sew — with the right guidance and a bit of fun.

Megan McKee-Griffith
Megan McKee-Griffith is our much-loved Intermediate to Advanced teacher, known for her warmth, clarity and depth of knowledge. With 30+ years as a pattern maker and training at East Sydney TAFE, she helps students refine fit and create beautifully finished garments.

Sheena Lee
Sheena has 40+ years in the fashion industry, from design to bridal and patternmaking. She studied at RMIT University and has taught at TAFE. She loves helping students create beautifully fitted, timeless garments with confidence.

Ali Dibley
Ali Dibley is an embroidery artist and sustainable fashion advocate. With a fashion background from University of Technology Sydney, she’s worked in bridal dressmaking, teaching and vintage hire. She loves reworking garments and adding a little sparkle.

Jenny Radwan
Jenny brings calm, kind energy to her classes, along with extensive industry experience — from alterations and bridal couture to mass production. She’s practical and down to earth, guiding students toward the easiest, most effective ways to sew at home.

Ros Bellenger
Ros started as a Usefulbox student and now teaches beginner sewing, softies and craft. Warm, kind and encouraging, she creates a relaxed space to build confidence. With a background as a TV casting agent, she brings great people skills and a generous approach to teaching.

Lorena Uriarte
Lorena is an award-winning, world-renowned quilter known for bold, colourful designs. She generously shares her expertise, blending hand and machine techniques. Passionate about teaching, she helps students create striking quilts and embrace creativity as a way to unwind.

Jessie Roorda
