The Lizzie A Line Skirt is a classic skirt that belongs in every wardrobe. With a neat waist facing, a centre back invisible zipper, and a silhouette that works equally well dressed up or down, it’s the kind of make you’ll come back to again and again.
This is a confident beginner to intermediate project. You’ll tackle darts and an invisible zipper, both of which feel tricky until suddenly they don’t, and the result is a skirt that looks far more complicated than it actually is.
Make it in a crisp cotton for a smart daytime look, a denim for something with more structure, or a jacquard or wool crepe when you want it to do the talking.
