The Avery Skirt is a pull-on style with a comfortable elastic waistband and subtle shaping through the hips. It’s a versatile wardrobe staple that works in linen, wool blends, denim, or structured cottons — making it ideal for both casual and elevated looks.

Simple in design, but full of technique — this class will refine your garment sewing skills while creating a piece you’ll wear again and again.

OPTIONAL: • Bring your own sewing machine (with power cord, foot pedal and accessories)

If you prefer not to bring your machine, you’re welcome to use one of ours.

What to bring

Avery Skirt pattern (sizes as per pattern) - you will need to trace your pattern before class
Fabric (see pattern meterage guide)
Suitable fabrics include linen, cotton drill, denim, wool blends and structured woven fabrics
Matching thread
Required elastic as per pattern
Fabric scissors and sewing kit
Your lunch (fridge and microwave available)
