Beginner to Intermediate

Kids' clothes are the best place to start sewing for others — small, quick and endlessly useful. Once you can make a pair of shorts, you'll never buy them from a fast fashion chain again.

In this fun four-hour workshop, Caz guides you through making the Basics Shorts by Hey There Threads — a unisex pattern with deep pockets (for all that sand!) and an elasticised waistband. Quick to sew, brilliant to give, and endlessly useful.

Sizes 1 to 10 years — make them in your child's size and have them ready for the next adventure.
