Come along and sew in a supportive small group while receiving personalised guidance from an experienced sewing teacher.

Whether you’re building confidence as a sewist or refining your garment skills, this is dedicated time to focus on that tricky technique, pattern or skill that’s been holding you back.

It’s a chance to finally start — and hopefully finish — the project you’ve been meaning to tackle.

SKILL LEVEL --> BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED • You can confidently thread and operate your sewing machine • You understand seam allowances • You have completed a Beginner class • You are ready to sew garments with guidance

Use of studio sewing machines — students sew on the Bernina 335 or Brother Innov-is A80
A fun, engaging and supportive atmosphere

What to bring

The pattern and fabric you want to work on
Fabric scissors and sewing kit

OPTIONAL:

Your own sewing machine (including foot pedal, power cord and accessories — especially all machine feet)

If you prefer not to bring your machine, you’re welcome to use one of our studio machines.

Kelda has been teaching sewing since 2008 and loves helping students create garments they’re proud of. She shares time-saving techniques for a high-quality finish and enjoys working with quirky fabrics. Kelda believes anyone can sew — with the right guidance and a bit of fun.
