Have you always wanted to learn to sew but didn’t know where to start?

This friendly, hands-on workshop is designed especially for absolute beginners. Over one fun and focused day, you’ll learn how to confidently use a sewing machine, understand essential sewing skills, and complete a practical project to take home.

Bring your own machine (in the box!) or use one of ours.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave feeling capable, confident and excited to keep sewing.

How to thread your machine correctly
Winding and inserting a bobbin with ease
Basic stitches including straight stitch, backstitch and zig zag
Cutting fabric accurately
Sewing clean seams and neat corners
Simple finishing techniques
Troubleshooting common beginner problems

Optional: Your sewing machines, otherwise use one of ours free of charge
Basic sewing kit: pins, scissors, unpicker, tape measure OR purchase one at the studio via cash or card
