Embroidery is such a mediative and joyful craft! Not to mention portable! Join Ali Dibley, embroidery guru, to learn the essentials of embroidery.
We'll start at the start with how to stretch your fabric onto the hoop and then we'll start with basic stitches and work out way through a sampler design.
Skill level: Beginner. You may have done some hand stitching in the past but you don't need to have embroidery experience.
Note: Depending on your speed and the complexity of your art, you may not finish in its entirety. Ali will give you tips on how to finish before you go home.
What you will learn:
- How to stretch your fabric onto the hoop
- How to thread your needle and make a knot
- How to stitch simple embroidery stitches
- How to end your stitches
