Kids Christmas Dress – Sewing Workshop
Sewing kids’ clothes is so rewarding — and making a Christmas dress is even more special!
Join Kelda for this festive 6-hour workshop where you’ll learn, step by step, how to sew a simple gathered Christmas dress perfect for the holiday season.
You’ll work through pattern and fabric cutting, construction, lining, buttonholes and hemming — all essential dressmaking skills you can use again and again for future garments.
The pattern is the Tea Party Dress from Tahdah Patterns will include sizes 0 (6–12 months) to size 8.
While we’ll aim to have your dress finished within the class time, you’ll confidently walk away with all the knowledge and skills needed to complete it at home if needed.

- OPTIONAL: Your clean machine (with all cords, pedal and accessories)
- Fabric scissors and sewing kit — available to purchase if needed
- 1.5 metre x Main Fabric - Lightweight cotton, linen, voile, tana lawn. Avoid stripes or obvious patterns that will need to pattern match. Please pre wash and dry your fabric before class.
- Matching Gutermann or Rasant thread
- 4 x 15mm buttons
