The Avery Skirt is a pull-on style with a comfortable elastic waistband and subtle shaping through the hips. It’s a versatile wardrobe staple that works in linen, wool blends, denim, or structured cottons — making it ideal for both casual and elevated looks.
Simple in design, but full of technique — this class will refine your garment sewing skills while creating a piece you’ll wear again and again.

OPTIONAL:
• Bring your own sewing machine (with power cord, foot pedal and accessories)
If you prefer not to bring your machine, you’re welcome to use one of ours.
WHAT TO BRING
- Avery Skirt pattern (sizes as per pattern) - you will need to trace your pattern before class
- Fabric (see pattern meterage guide)
Suitable fabrics include linen, cotton drill, denim, wool blends and structured woven fabrics
- Matching thread
- Required elastic as per pattern
- Fabric scissors and sewing kit
- Your lunch (fridge and microwave available)
