Beginner Christmas Bunting & Reindeers Class
Want to try a fun, achievable Christmas sewing project and build your confidence at the same time? Make it a family affair - 12yrs and up!
In this beginner-friendly class you’ll create your own festive bunting and reindeers — cute, quick projects that make perfect decorations or gifts. You’ll learn the basics of cutting, stitching, and assembling simple shapes while getting comfortable using your machine and sewing with purpose.
This is a great next step if you’ve done our Beginner One Day or Weekend class, or if you already know how to thread and operate your machine.
What you will learn:

Cutting out templates and shapes

Sewing with seam allowances

Construction and assembly of bunting

Making and stuffing simple fabric reindeers

Basic straight stitching and zig-zag finishing

Troubleshooting common machine issues
What is included:

Sewing machines for your use — Bernina 335 or Brother Innovis A80

4 hours of expert tuition in a small group (3–6 students)

All tools provided for class use

A fun, relaxed atmosphere

Endless cups of tea and coffee
What you need to bring:

OPTIONAL: Your clean machine (with all cords, pedal and accessory feet)

Fabric scissors and your sewing kit — available to purchase if you need one

Fabrics of your choice for bunting triangles & reindeers (cotton/linen preferred)

Matching Gutermann or Rasant thread
OPTIONAL: Buy a complete kit of materials and have it waiting for you in class — $55.
