Every Wednesday morning, a small group of regulars gathers at Usefulbox to sew, chat, and generally make the most of a few hours of creative time.

This is Sewing Circle — and it might just become the highlight of your week.

Bring whatever you're working on — garments, quilts, embroidery, alterations — and settle in. It's not a class and there's no agenda. Just good company, good coffee, and your project getting the attention it deserves.

Numbers are intentionally kept small (max 10) so it always feels like sewing with friends rather than strangers. New faces are warmly welcomed — regulars will make sure of it.

Class format

Every Wednesday — choose your session

Morning: 9am–12:30pm — $35

All day: 9am–2:30pm — $55

Come and go as you please within your session time

Irons, cutting mats, rulers and high cutting tables

Sewing is my jam — I started at 9 and never stopped. Usefulbox began helping people use their “in the box” machines. I love seeing students feel proud. Sewing is my creative outlet, and I believe it supports mental health — it’s helped me through life’s highs and lows.
