Sewing is more fun with friends! Especially sewing for an event such as Frocktails.
Join us for a simple and relaxed day of sewing with the company other sewists. Use this time to finish, or even start, your Frocktails outfit or use it to just sew whatever you fancy!
If you are coming along to Frocktails solo, this might be a great place to meet a few friendly faces before the big event!
Date: Saturday 28 March
Timing: Doors open at 9am and close at 4pm - that's 7 whole hours of sewing! You can come and go as you please.
Where: St Lukes Church Hall, 11 Stanmore Road, Enmore
There is plenty of parking onsite for the early birds or in the opposite street, Fotheringham Street or in the council car park on Edgware Road. Also close to many bus routes (M3, 423, 426, 428, 355) on Enmore Road or a 15min walk from Stanmore or Newtown Stations.
How much? $20 which includes a delicious morning and afternoon tea and copious amounts of tea and coffee.
What do I need to bring? All your own sewing equipment that you need that day, an extension power cord, the project/s you want to work on and lunch (there is a microwave and fridge onsite or it's a short walk to a number of cafes on Enmore Road).
Dietary requirements for morning/arvo tea: Please add these into the notes to seller section at the checkout.
Will there be space to cut out? There are plenty of trestle tables but I would suggest that you bring your projects already cut and ready to go. Simply to maximise your sewing time!
Skill level? This is not a workshop and all skill levels are welcome. If you are a beginner (or even been sewing for a while) and need some help with a project, there will be plenty of others who would be happy to give you some advice.
Are refunds available? I'm afraid not.
How many spaces are there? 14-16 people is the absolute max.
