Let's really get sewing! This 4 week Learn to Sew course is for those who want to get sewing fast and consistently!
Each week we will build on the skills learnt from the precious week. The first two weeks will focussed on learning how to thread your machine, sew some basic stitches and sew a curved line plus hem, ending with making a tote bag. The next two weeks will focus on skills such as zips, buttonholes and pattern cutting.
You have the option of a Thursday or Sunday class and lessons run for 3 hours each (total of 12 hours of class).
Skill level: Complete beginner - bring your machine in the box!
What you will learn:
What all those knobs do
How to change your needle
How to thread both the bobbin and the machine
Sew basic straight stitches to the seam allowance and zig zag the edges
Trouble shoot basic machine problems
What is included:

Accepting and relaxed environment
Copies tea and coffee, even some baked treats
What you need to bring

The machines accessories, especially all the feet
Your fabric scissors and sewing kit - if you don't have one, you can buy one here and have it waiting for you in the class.
