Adult Sewing Lessons
Let's get sewing! All you need is a machine, enthusiasm and my workshops!
I'd love to get you further along in your sewing journey - whether its from the very beginning or when you want to skill up, in our new studio at 21 Shepherd Street, Marrickville.
Here's how we can do it together, with courses listed for your skill level:
ABSOLUTE BEGINNER - You may have sewn a little before or you have your machine in the box and don't know where to start.
- Beginner One Day Workshop - 5 hours to learn all to get started.
- Beginner Weekender - 2 days of 5 hours each to get started and make two projects
NEXT STEP BEGINNER - You know how to thread your machine, sew to seam allowances and have had a go at simple projects. You are ready to skill up.
- Next Step Beginner - either a 4 or 5 hour class where we get started in making complete garments.
INTERMEDIATE / PROJECT BASED
You are confident with your machine and what you can sew but now you want to learn new skills.
- Specialised workshops based on projects such as "Sew a Gathered Skirt"
- Overlocker Intro - learn how to use that overlocker of yours
- Swimwear - sew your own togs
- Stretch Essentials - learn how to sew with stretch fabric
